Use more of the daylight falling on your roof

Electricity prices are hard to control. Solar gives your home a source of clean power that starts working as soon as the panels are commissioned.

A well-designed system matches the available roof space with the way your household uses energy. Add battery storage now or later to keep more of that electricity for evenings and higher-demand periods.

A solar system sized for your home – not a standard package

Every roof and household is different. Homeco reviews roof orientation, shading, available space, electricity use and any future battery or EV plans before recommending a system.

You receive a clear proposal showing the recommended layout, expected generation and the equipment included. The aim is a neat installation that performs well and fits the property.

6kWp in-roof solar PV installation in Sheffield

As part of this refurb project we were asked to fit as many panels on this property as possible. Utilising the discreet GSE in roof mounting system with market leading all black 340 watt LG modules we were able to fit panels to five different roof areas using the SolarEdge optimisation system.

FAQs

Is my roof suitable for solar panels?

Many pitched and flat roofs can work well. Suitability depends on available space, orientation, shading and roof condition, which Homeco checks during the assessment.

How much could solar save me?

Savings depend on system size, electricity use, when you use energy and whether you add a battery. Homeco provides a tailored estimate rather than a generic promise.

Do solar panels work on cloudy days?

Yes. Output is lower than in bright sunshine, but panels continue generating from daylight.

Can solar help charge my electric car?

A compatible EV charger can use electricity generated by your solar system, subject to the system design and when the vehicle is connected.

What happens after installation?

Homeco commissions the system, explains monitoring and provides the handover information you need, with aftercare available if questions arise.
