MCS Accreditation

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an independant scheme that certifies renewable energy products and installers in accordance with consistent standards. It is designed to evaluate products and installers against robust criteria providing greater protection for consumers.

The MCS is the only certification scheme to cover all renewable energy products and installers and has the support of the Department of Energy and Climate Change, industry and non-governmental groups as a prime method for making a substantial contribution to cutting the UK's dependance of fossil fuels and carbon dioxide emissions.

The MCS standard allows Homeco Energy to carry out work on public buildings, commercial and domestic contracts where grant funding is available.

Renewable Energy Assurance Scheme (REAL)

The Renewable Energy Association is the Country's leading trade organisation representing renewable energy producers and suppliers across a wide range of electric and heating energy sources. CHAS is established as the market leader for Health and Safety pre-qualification in the UK. As part of this scheme, Homeco Energy ensures it is constantly working to the very highest standards of Health and Safety. Being a CHAS member allows Homeco Energy to bid for, and work on, contracts for public as well as domestic and commerical buildings and organisations.
